I would recommend Hatchet to people who like a bit of adventrue. My favourite parts were when brian got fire for the first time and when he caught his first fish. Through out the book Brian changed the way he looked at life. I do not think Hatchet will make a good movie because there was not a whole heap of conversation.

i think the book was really good i like how gary put alot of description but not too much so that we would get bored

i would recomend this book to people who like adventure books but still have that sad feeling for brian

i think this would be an ok movie but not because in the book brian has his thoughts he doesn't say anything so it would be a bit hard for the producer to make lines and you wouldn't get that feeling that you do in the book

in the beggining brian was very doubtful and thought he was going to die but he make a desition that he was going to fight for his life also he believes in his self and learn how to do things he never thought he could do like make a fire without matches, make shelters bow and aro + how to catch fish and fool birds as he calls them

my favourite part was all the description of what brian did to survive but the whole book was Awesome!

I am going to go to the library and see if they have the other 2 books

i really enjoyed hatchet. i would recommend it to anyone who enjoys adventure and a lot of description.

hatchet would be an interesting/o.k movie but the people who would of made the movie would have to add some more speech.

Brian was a selfish, boubtful person but in the end he made a plan to help himself survive and it worked he became brave and clever

My favourite part was when he saw the bear i really did think the bear was going to take him and do some thing to him.

Hatchet was an amazing book that I loved and is one of those books that you could read over and over again because you'll always find new things.

I dont think it would make a fantastic movie that everyone would love, as it has not much speech to listen to. The film makers might get Brian to talk to himself lots so you know what he's feeling. Other than the problem with the amount of conversation, it would be a pretty interesting movie to see.

Brian changed quite a lot during this book. In the beginning Brian was a selfish boy who only thought about himself and how he was feeling. He thought life was miserable and blamed that on his parents all the time. When he was trapped in the wilderness he did think he was goiing to die but stopped those thoughts when he knew he wasn't going to be rescued. He realised how much he missed his muum and dad and learnt some important lessons. He became very couragess and smart.

I don't know what my favourite bit was, because i love all of it! i liked the action/adventure parts as well as the description Gary put in.

I have read 'Hatchet- Brian's winter' and gave it to Neeve(you can borrow it after her)and have got 'Brian's Return' on hold. Brian's winter was just as awesome as Hatchet, maybe even better!
